In reply to Andrei. It's a high-accuracy quartz running at +/- 10 seconds/year. It does some kind of thermal compensation and also has special shock-resistant qualities. Seems like an important aspect of the overall value proposition—not sure why it was only briefly mentioned in this article as a "high-tier quartz."

Very cool, but at this price point this really should have had a chronometer certified quartz, or an automatic.
Why would someone buy this over a Scurfa, for example, that’s at literally a third of the price?
