In reply to Vacation Al. I am unsure. If I'm guessing, it's a few layers of lume paint filled in to maybe a little triangle cut into the bezel, as the lume is pretty bright and the whole thing feels pretty much flush. I dunno if that actually made any sense.

Glad you mentioned the fact that it’s Swiss made – I wanted to respect Jason’s non-marketing about it but this thing has hands, movement, and assembly all done in Switzerland – I *think* it might actually qualify for being officially “Swiss Made” but you won’t see that anywhere on the watch. Friggin’ Halios, what a thing.

I received the grey-dialed, 12 hour bezel a couple weeks ago as well. I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like his watch from the pictures alone. Now having it in my possession I can tell you that it is much nice than I expected. I love the hands, dial , case/lug design and at 39mm it strikes a real sweat spot in my collection or omegas and rolexes. Here’s to wishing that the bracelet doesn’t take too much longer. Looking forward to pairing it up. Thank you, Jason. Your customer service and timely responses to my e-mails are truly appreciated. Oh, last point, that one-day shipping 2,000+ miles to my destination was unexpected. Every shipper seems delayed these day, by not DHL.

Excellent, spot-on review! My gray dialed, 12 hour sapphire bezeled Fairwind arrived two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. It’s sporty and elegant at the exact same time and I have worn it on the suede strap and a gray or olive Zulu strap. So comfy. So pretty. And so far, quite accurate as well (it looks like it’s at -5 seconds per day). This is my first Swiss made automatic and am loving every minute of wearing it. And then there’s that mint green second hand tip…
