I really appreciate this review. I have the aventurine dial version and it’s one of my favorite watches (and greatest bargains).

A theme running through Battlestar Galactica was “All this has happened before, and it will happen again.” Supporting that theme was a design esthetic that was deliberately both like and unlike our world. For example, their books were bound like ours but had clipped corners. This watch echoes certain vintage Zenith watches that were one of its inspirations and yet looks like nothing else. It could have come from the BSG cycle of time. And who knows…
